The Aviation Authority owns and operates Charleston International Airport (CHS), Charleston Executive Airport (JZI on Johns Island) and Mount Pleasant Regional Airport (LRO). The CCAA is responsible for maintaining, operating, and developing all public airports in the Charleston County Airport District.
WHO ARE WE?
The Charleston County Aviation Authority is a public body created for the sole purpose of operating the public airports in the Charleston County. The CCAA is an independent organization chartered by the state of South Carolina with control vested in 13 Aviation Authority Board members.
WHAT'S OUR MISSION?
The mission of the authority is to operate its three airports in a safe and efficient manner in order to best serve the traveling public and the citizens of Charleston County.
