Lost and Found

The Charleston County Aviation Authority Police Department maintains lost property in accordance to SC Code of Laws 27-21-20.

Officer Ryan Braga is the property custodian for the airport police department.

If you believe you have left something in the terminal building or parking areas, please call and check with communications at 843 767-1100. You may contact Officer Braga by e-mail at rbraga@chs-airport.com. He is available between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

If you left of lost something on an airplane, please contact your airline lost and found.

Any items found at the airprot of a valuable nature are secured in a safe and will be available on the following business day. Items that are not claimed by the property owner within 90 days will be disposed of in accordance with state law.

The police department does not store food items or other perishable items. The Police Department also does not store items left behind on aircrafts or rental cars. Please contact the airline or car rental company directly in reference to those items left behind.
