We know the airport and the parking lots will be congested so we encourage passengers to plan ahead and leave plenty of time to:
Navigate traffic coming to the airport.
Park your car.
Check your bags with your respective airline
Go through security
Board your flight without being rushed.
There are three parking options available at CHS.
Deck parking - $15 a day
Surface parking - $8 a day
Valet parking - $15 a day
Charleston International operates two remote (seasonal overflow) parking lots. Those are opened for use when the parking deck and surface lot are full. Parking in the remote (seasonal overflow) lot is $8 a day. A free shuttle service is available to and from the terminal when the remote lot is in use.
Parking is not permitted on the curb in front of the terminal building. Unattended vehicles are subject to towing and ticketing.
If you don’t have to drive, have someone drop you off at the airport or carpool with someone else coming to CHS. CARTA bus service as well as most taxis service also are widely available in the Lowcountry and provide service to and from the airport.
You family or friend can pick up arriving passengers with ease. Parking is free in the cell phone lot on International Boulevard just before the terminal building.
Information about incoming flights is displayed on the outdoor marquee, and up to 40 vehicles can park at a time. When you are ready to be picked up outside baggage claim, all you have to do is call. It is a short drive from the cell phone lot to the terminal building.
