Established in 1990, this group of state-certified police officers and civilian support personnel carry out the rewarding mission of "ensuring the safety of the traveling public in the Charleston County Airport District." The Department’s jurisdiction includes the county’s three primary airports: Charleston International, Charleston Executive, and Mt. Pleasant Regional Airport.
